Sometimes it seems that we are like the untethered astronaut who is floating in outer space or like a rock climber without an anchor. Is there anything that can tether us? “Tethered” seeks to answer this question through “the Serenity Prayer.” This prayer has been made popular by 12 step programs and is a transformative resource for our lives. “God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.” The prayer challenges us to tether our lives on the true peace that is found in acceptance, courage, and wisdom.
