about

Have you ever quieted yourself and listened to your heart's pulse? How about your child's pulse? The heartbeat, the pulsing song of our body, rises and falls with every thought, action, and emotion. It's astonishing, isn't it? Beyond the miracle of a beating pulse there is a spiritual heartbeat. You have been given the ability to act or react — to compose — your life into a harmonious or discordant song. But if we fail to pay attention to this beating life force then we could miss out on the rhythm that our lives were intended for. The choice is yours.

Keeping Pulse: Devotions for the Heart is a Spoken Word Album. Each track has been written to expose, stir, inspire, nurture, and heal the heart. As our hearts beat again and again and as we begin to pay attention, to listen, and compose: my prayer is that we will find new rhythms, rhythms that reflect hearts of harmony, health, and hope.

“Dale is bursting with life. I heard him give one of his spoken word pieces and you could feel the energy filling the room as he put language to grace and hope and love. And now, with this album, you can feel what I’m talking about…” Rob Bell
